Intravenous Vitamins

I.V. vitamin therapy (or intravenous vitamin therapy) is a means by which a healthy and safe dose of nutrients are given to a patient through their circulatory system using either a drip or injection. Vitamins and minerals are put directly into the bloodstream, bypassing the gut and guaranteeing maximum absorption into the cells.  Some of the vitamins offered at Levity can also be administered intramuscularly.

Intravenous vitamins may assist in giving the body a boost at times of high stress or sickness while also supporting a sluggish immune system and promoting general well-being.

A consultation with our Medical Doctor, who has undertaken specialised training in intravenous nutrient therapy with ACNEM is required to evaulate the suitability and type of vitamin therapy for a patient's individual needs.

Intravenous vitamins may initially cause a flu-like symptoms or a general run-down feeling for a day or two after treatment; it is a sign that your body is in the process of detoxification.
