Pain can be your friend, like anxiety, lack of energy, fever, skin conditions and nausea, to list a few!
Pain is one of the many ways that your body is letting you know that something is amiss and needs attention.
Imagine that your body is a car and pain is the fuel light. On registering low fuel, the light comes on giving you a chance to do something before you come to a complete stop. Removing the connection from the fuel tank to the fuel light, to prevent it coming on, is similar to taking a pain reliever - it puts a temporary fix on the problem rather than solving the problem and eventually the problem gets worse – the fuel runs out and you stop dead in your tracks.
Pain can be the result of stress from a biochemical, environmental, emotional or physical source or any combination of these. Using Kinesiology techniques, we identify the underlying cause and the most appropriate solution.
You are a unique individual; and as such, the factors and solution for your pain are unique to you. The body is like a computer that records everything that happens in your life (cellular memory). You can use Kinesiology to tap into these records and identify the factor/s leading to your pain.
Next time pain pops in to visit take a moment to stop, say hello and listen to the message it brings... it could just offer you information that allows you to turn your life around.
A good technique to use is ESR (Emotional Stress Release).
Take a couple of deep breaths in and out, drink some water and then place one hand over the forehead and one on the base of the back of the head.
Sit like this for 5 - 10 minutes, breathing deeply and during this time, tune into the pain and try to observe the underlying cause... does the pain arrive with or shortly after a particular emotion or thought?
Is it associated with a repeated pattern of behaviour or situation? i.e. walking across uneven ground or a slippery floor?
Once you have identified the link breathe into the area of pain and imagine the pain releasing along with the emotion or pattern as you breathe out.
