Unwanted Emotions
Do you find yourself responding to situations and events or do you find yourself at the mercy of your reactions?
If we react to something, we do it automatically, like accidentally touching a hotplate and quickly pulling our hand away. If we respond to something we choose what we really want to do and what will give us the best outcome.
Emotional outbursts, being easily irritated, doing things on impulse and worrying over every little thing are all examples of reacting rather than responding.
