2008 Seminar Schedule

Dry Needling Plus Level 1, 27-28th September 2008

Please Note: This course suitable for Personal Trainers and Massage / Manual Therapists.

Dry needling plus is an approach to musculoskeletal dry needling that does not emphasise (though does not exclude) the location and treatment of trigger points in the intramuscular tissue.

It has evolved from a combination of traditional meridian therapy (a Japanese style of acupuncture) palpation and needling techniques being practised in a biomechnical, manual therapy and sports physiotherapy environment.

It addresses many of the shortcomings experienced by practitioners of standard dry needling approaches.

A variety of needling techniques are utilised to address variations in the tissue guided broadly by range of motion testing and specifically by refined tissue palpation skills.
