Emily Bowie

C.H.E.K Practioner I, C.H.E.K HLC I, BSc (Hons) Sport & Exercise, NSCA, Dip. Remedial Massage.

Emily began her career in the health industry six years ago working with health clubs in Bristol in the United Kingdom. She moved to Australia two years ago to pursue her dream lifestyle and satisfy her love for the outdoors! Her passion has always been with the human body and coaching others how to use their bodies in the most natural way possible.

She approaches her work with clients with absolute dedication and skill. Her personality and knowledge fit perfectly with the industry and we have often joked that if the roof was to collapse in the middle of any of Emily’s sessions, she wouldn’t notice.

Emily’s knowledge of Bio-Mechanics allowed her to make a full recovery from a back injury early in her career. Discovering that a nutritional imbalance contributed to her injury, she was inspired to continue her study of the human body from a Nutrition and Lifestyle perspective. Studying these two important areas of health gave her the missing pieces of the puzzle and she now combines the two to ensure clients get the best of both worlds.

Her perception of what it really means to be Healthy is continually changing as she discovers more about herself and discovers that as you get healthier, your life experiences and relationships also get healthier!

Benjamin Weale

C.H.E.K HLC III, C.H.E.K Exercise Coach.

Ben’s study of health began when he was very young, with a continual curiosity of anything to do with life.

Ben enjoys coaching people to truly understand how their body works, and how to use this knowledge to maintain and improve themselves for the rest of their lives. He believes that everyone has the design for their perfect body within them - all that you need to do is provide yourself with the right tools and environment and your body will show you what you are truly capable of.

He began his study of biomechanics to help improve his own body and ability in dance. Realising early that studying the muscular system alone would not allow him to work with a holistic model for well-being, he moved on to study the areas of Nutrition and Lifestyle. Working with Gwinganna Lifestyle retreat on the Gold Coast allowed Ben to implement his skills and share his knowledge with clients from all walks of life.

Ben enjoys helping all clients integrate realistic and permanent changes into a busy modern lifestyle.
